Just getting onto my train to Ebbw Vale from Bridgend and noticing a commotion on platform 1, the 8:00 to Swansea has jammed breaks and can't move anywhere, formed of 142075 and 150260. The breaks have gone on 142075 and no trains are moving west from Bridgend until sorted

It's proper stuck me up now, found out that the failed train is the 07:33 Ebbw vale paRkway to Maesteg. This meaning it hasn't come back and I'm being told to go to Cardiff Central and wait for announcements

I think you have quoted some fictitious trains here. The service which failed was 06 42 Cardiff to Pembroke Dock which reacted onto others.

Dont you mean 06:42 Cardiff - Pembroke Dock/Fishguard Harbour?

This failed train would no doubt have caused some issue's and would no doubt have affected some eastbound working in particular those coming from Maesteg or start from Bridgend such as the 08:07 Bridgend - Ebbw Vale Parkway service

I could have said that but hardly a big issue. To be precise rather than pedantic, one could say "to Pembroke Dock with portion for Fishguard Hbr"

There is no 0733 Ebbw Vale to Maesteg service. There is an 0642 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale, which coincidentally was a 143 instead of a 150 and it passed on time towards Cardiff.

Yes you do raise a good point there.

Back to this case I must admit this is the 1st time I have heard of a train breaking down at Bridgend although not the 1st time in south wales as a whole (that pacer recently at Cardiff Queen Street for example)

When you said this post, I thought you were referring to the OP, adamt958, about the fictitious 0733 Ebbw Vale to Maesteg, not the fact that Philipe had forgotten about the Fishguard portion of the 0642 from Cardiff!
