Failed Guard assessment. Will that effect me on another TOC?

Just wondering if anybody can help me.

I've had an assessment for a Guard at SWT today. Passed the maths, concentration and the verbal reasoning but then I went and failed on the Verbal Communication.

Now I have an assessment for a conductor role at FGW this coming Monday. Will my failed assessment today effect me on this assessment for FGW?

Turns out that there is a strong possibility that it will affect it.

I believe it covers all TOC's, I think (but am happy to be corrected) it's for six months. Sorry!

Ask FGW's HR department. It'll all depend on what combination of tests they use, who they get to do the testing - from experience, some TOCs are very strict and say that you must leave six months between attempts with any company, some don't care in the slightest, and others are somewhere in between.

You might find the Verbal Communication test isn't used by FGW - I certainly know I've never sat it in any of my applications with a couple of other companies.

See what they say, and take things from there.
