Failed 91?

A failed 91 dragged into Doncaster by 67020, power car is 91117, all passengers off the train and cancelled, anyone know whats wrong with it?
And a Grand Central 180 coupled to a First Hull 180?

91117 trailed the 225 set under its own power back south, the 67 headed north i believe solo,

The 180s are coupled up due to restricted paths further south.

The 180s weren't coupled up I don't think due to problems with doing so 59913 and 180112 were involved I believe (well the ones at 3 ish).

According to EC website, there are OHLE problems near Retford.
Could cause more problems further south as the engineering works at Stevenage mean only a single line is in operation for 1 hour each way between Hitchin & Stevenage , so if a train is late southbound it may have to wait before Hitchin for an hour for trains coming the other way.

Think there have been a lot of delays out there this afternoon. Live depatures also seems to have gone down which isn't helping the information situation. Does a day go by thesedays without chaos on the ECML? :roll:

the two 180's were here about 17.40ish, the Grand Central went to Sunderland, the First Hull sat in the sidings and has just moved, the 67 is in the sidings aswell, and 91117 is back on platform 4 doing nothing.

Also a GC 180 was put into one of the north bays at Doncaster, presumably terminating. If it was the Bradford one, it didn't get very far!

All chaos, I hit lucky, arrived at Donny and everything northbound was showing delayed. At that point, a Voyager came in and after a word with the driver, was allowed on with an EC advance.

This was meant to be happening today. Bradford services were only meant to run as far as Donny.

I'm talking about what happened at 3ish here where the coupling failed and then the First train went off.

Nice to know what 67 hauled me, I was enjoying the buffet car!

Carriages are individually numbered, then you have a number for the overall unit.

Ah now I realise, that was the carraige number! Well GC have the number of the unit in the same place so you can understand why I got confused.

The engineering work wasn't over running.

The problem was, because of the single line working through Stevenage, once delays started, they only got worse and worse. It was impossible to rectify the problem.
