By the way, one of the doors of your "lovely" trains was broken
someone pressed open, but when they let go of their hands off the button, the doors closed without any warning , so i had to hold onto the Open button

Sounds like a dodgy button.Come across this loads of times but must be easy to fix.

455 or 319?

I had this at Bedford, Amuses me what would of happened in London...

They do have a non-stop train from surbiton to waterloo from guilford in the morning peak. With a train every 3 minutes on the main side and trains stacking behind one another its quiet hard to fit in another one or two services in between that.

Aye that's what I meant and as I drive trains round there I did know what a slammer looked like.;)

I think there were the odd slam door workings but Desiro's took over in Dec 2004.

True the Weybridges were slammers I remember working them.

Had lots of fun with slam doors including working the 57 units down to Weymouth. They really were boneshakers.I remember getting one instead of a 442 and reaslising I would have to drive my best to keep time but it was hard going as pigs were faster.
