The title of this thread may not be very clear, I have got a Gatwick Airport - Elephant and Castle (nearest station to office that meeting was at) anytime return for tomorrow at a cost of £17. The only restriction it has printed on it not valid on London underground.

The venue of the meeting has now changed and the best station to go to is St Pancras. You can still get a ticket for £17

What is my best course of action?

Buy an Elephant & Castle - St Pan return?
As for an excess / alteration to the orginal ticket?

The curse of buying anytimes in advance, but it does save me the hastle of queuing in the peak - as long as venues of meetings don't change!

Maybee best Just buying a Ticket to London S P instead unless yopu have already bought your ticket to Elephant & Castle where then I would Imagine you are travling in to London S P tpo get to E & C anyway so wouldn't really matter if you only went to London S P.

I would say over distance excess for £0.00. You should buy this at Gatwick Airport (or any other booking office you visit before that point) before boarding the train.

I have already got my ticket, but Elephant and Castle is south of St Pancras so couldn't do that anyway.

Thanks Clagmonster, oh well have to queue up anyway, that will teach me to by anytime tickets in advance.

You will get an "Over Distance Excess". I got one the other day for £0.00. Nice and simple, however they will probably staple the tickets together so you can't use the barriers unless you manually remove the staple!!
