It is debatable if premonitions / Déjà vu are grouped within supernatural or considered separately given not mentioned already. If the latter this post needs to be split into a new thread.
Over the years I have had many dreams that have come true. Sometimes the real 'event' is just a couple of days later, sometimes weeks later. Some examples are
- doing a job using a tool I did not possess at the time of the dream but subsequently bought e.g. pruning with extending loppers
- working with somebody I have never met
- driving along a road I have never been before and passing a landmark e.g. large building
- a discussion or a thought while having a discussion
Taking the first it is more than just a subconscious thought that I ought to by some extending loppers but 'reliving' the experience of standing in exactly the same position to reach for the branch to cut, the light & weather being the same and the loppers being the exact ones i.e. same colour handles.
Overall it is hard to describe, the best analogy perhaps as if watching a recording of a TV programme before the live/first broadcast.
