Expecting a Maltese Cross

Hi, In BR Fares a Off Peak Return, Stowmarket to High Wycombe (any permitted) with a railcard is £41.75 and a Maltese Cross is shown.
My plan is to transfer between Stratford or Liverpool Street via Oxford Circus using the Central and Bakerloo lines to London Marylebone. lines. I've collected my tickets but I have not got a Maltese Cross printed but there is a sign like a upright dagger, (an upright line with a short horizontal line across , near the top of the upright line, if that makes sense). It is to the left of the wording 'Valid via any permitted route'. No surprise then, my question is, is it valid on the tube? or Bus/Elizabeth line? Anyone have an opinion on this? Any replies greatly accepted.

Yes, the dagger denotes it's valid for cross London transfer (if it was me, I'd take the Met from Liverpool St to Baker St, then either Bakerloo* Line, or walk for the last bit)

The 'maltese cross' shown as a dagger is just be down to the font of the machine you used to collect the ticket.

If you want to take a bus, you'd have to pay separately for that (£1.75)

* Alight from the rear of the 4th carriage, if it's a Met, and you will be very near the stairs leading directly to the Bakerloo Line escalator.

I'd either go Yorkie's way or change at Stratford for the Elizabeth Line, then Bond St for the Jubilee and then a cross-platform change at Baker St for the Bakerloo. The central line is rather slow.

Just a word of warning about this, you don’t mention when you’re travelling, but this weekend I believe there may be no Elizabeth line in the central London core area.

Thanks for the information, I think the itinerary I got suggested the met/circle line and then walk from Baker Street, even though as @yorkie said upthread Central Line is slower I have an hour from Liverpool Street to get to Marylebone

The Hammersmith & City and Circle Lines run direct from Liverpool Street to Paddington. That is the way I'd go.

Another option if Central Line from Stratford or Liverpool Street to Lancaster Gate which is a short walk to Paddington.

Correct. No core services on Elizabeth Line on Saturday or Sunday.
