Exotic Railtour Routes & Destinations wishlist

Well, seeing as some operators have a regular thing of the S&C, granted good as it is, even too much of a good thing can become a bit dull.

Anyone have any ideas of something "a bit different from the norm" routes & destinations?

Me personally, i'd like to see more Welsh tours run, namely on the Cambrian coast.
It's one scenic route that seems to get overlooked a little i think & would like to see more run down that way. Of course, starting in & around the major population centers in order to have a good amount of bookings/ being easy to get on the tour in the first place.
So say a start & pickups in the Manchester-Sheffield-Derby-Birmingham areas sort of thing (the major population centers) before a run to the destination.

I wouldn't mind travelling on some tours across the Pennines. I missed out on the Oldham Looper/Cumbrian coaster, but you could have quite an interesting one taking in the Little North Western, Hope valley and the routes inbetween, perhaps with some 1st generation DMU's. I suspect it would be mainly for rail enthusiasts though

I'd like to see a tour from Eastleigh to Carlisle along the S&C, however it would be difficult to go there and back in a day from Eastleigh

I would like to see a Class 390 cleared by Network Rail to run between Glasgow Central and Kings Cross, the actual tour would start at Euston, head down the WCML to Glasgow then across to Edinburgh and down the ECML to Kings Cross.

I know a 91 did this a few years back so would like to see a 390 do it.

Euston-Preston-Carlisle-Glasgow Central-Motherwell-Haymarket-Edinburgh-Newcastle-Doncaster-Peterborough-Kings Cross and run it as a charity run with all proceeds from tickets going to charity.

Not fussed If I am really honest! As long as it isn't via the Snooze + Crap! And only other requirement is that is has to get there! Trundling along branchlines at 30mph is boring imo. Reversing every 2 chains is also a big no no in my books!

I'd like to do the Thames Clyde Express route all the way from St Pancras to Glasgow (sadly not St Enoch), via the MML, S&C and G&SW main line. Not behind a peak tho. Too much of that nonsense back in the day on the S&C in the Trent Clyde Express days, and bitter disappointments in the 80s when you were desperately hoping a 40 might show and the deadly dull Sulzer chunter came into earshot. How about a 50 to Leeds, and 40145 on to Glasgow?
