Hi, I'm making my usual trip from Worcester to truro in march and when I Booked my disabled persons travel assistance I found out that on the return, the leg from Exeter to Cheltenham takes an extra hour. I assume this is due to engineering work booked for that saturday, (29/03/2014) Does anyone know what route the XC service from exeter would be taking that means it takes an extra hour into Cheltenham? The details are, 10.41 FGW Truro to Exeter St Davids, 13.24 Exeter St Davids to Cheltenham Spa, then i will catch the next available service into Worcester Shrub Hill. Seeing as I have already bought my tickets, is there an alternative route I could take to cut the journey time? I don't want to change at Bristol for Worcester because that service is a 2 car local and I can't reserve seats, and with 2 of us, 2 guide dogs and a baby plus suit case we need seats really. Thanks in advance.
Plus I've never travelled that route from bristol via newport and chepstow.
