Hi all,

If I eventually find someone willing to excess the return portion of a London Terminals - Chester le Street offpeak rtn to a Winchester - Chester le Street, does that permit travel via Birmingham and Reading, avoiding London?

Thanks,

Mark

Good luck getting that excess. You are more likely just to be sold a ticket to cover the part of the journey that you haven't got covered already, however, in answer to your question, it depends on the reason the excess is given. It is most likely to be 'over-distance', in which case travel must be via London.
