Examples of organisations using obsolete branding

This isn't exactly relevant to the thread I'm quoting out of, but it's something I find moderately interesting so I have decided to make my own thread about it.

Bletchley Tesco still has the 1987-1995 branding (TESCO in red serif font without the blue underline bits) on the back, you can't see it from the road (which is why they probably left it) but you can see it from...back on topic(ish)...the Marston Vale line.

There are a couple of Morrisons' which have "M" emblems in the style of the old logo in subtle places, such as on lamp posts in the car park, despite the new logo having been applied to the outside of the store.
There's an M&S Simply Food in Portslade which still uses the thin typeface with lime green elements.
The operation of my local waste recycling centre is outsourced by the council. A couple of years ago the operator changed, and there are still some signs with bits of tape covering up the name of the old operator.
Until very recently, Asda in Stockport still had "PART OF THE WAL★MART FAMILY" on one of its signs.

As Bletchleyite has already alluded, if you want to see old logos, round the back of shops is often the best place. Another example is the old logo displayed at Peacocks in Stroud, which you can see the back of from the railway and the station car park but not the main road.

One here in Redcar that always brings back memories, the rear of WHSmith. You cannot get that close to it on Streetview but the below image does show it in the distance and it can be made out.

Edit: I believe that there are/were also some Silverlink-branded stop car marks on the Abbey line at Watford Junction, but I'm not sure if these have been replaced in the past few years.

If I recall, the station sign outside Cheddington is still in a Silverlink design. Will have to double check next time I go there.

Any London stations still toting the old Overground Network signage? I recall some of them took a while to disappear.

A number of stations in the Midlands use GWR or Midland signs, though some of these are modern pastiches.

The Coop are still working their way through the updating of store signage to the most recent version (dark grey wood effect background and the blue "cloverleaf" Coop sign). Based on what I've seen on my travels, there are more still to be done in the south than the north. (This is only the ~2,300 Cooperative Group stores, not the ~1,600 independent Coops)

There are lots of NSE signs around the network, even as far North as Lapworth.

I've noticed that, but old logo on the store itself and the car park, petrol station and sign outside have the new logo/lettering.

I'm sure there's been a thread about NSE relics all over the relevant part of the network.

If you go to King's Lynn, you can still find the National Bus double N on the road signs for the bus station. Seem to recall that in various places in West Yorkshire, the old WY Metro logo can be found - I snapped this in Sowerby Bridge about 4 years ago and, according to Streetview, it's still there

Signs at Kingham have GWR green branding at the bottom over the FGW blue; however, the "Cotswolds & Malverns Line" branding hasn't been changed from its blue-and-pink colour scheme. There's also a British Rail-era sign, complete with double arrow, on the approach to the car park. I think it's still being maintained!

There's a Regional Railways station sign still visible at Harling Road (I think it was there, certainly at least one Breckland Line station still has an RR station sign).

I don't know if this counts, but Cardiff Central Station has 'Great Western Railway' carved in the stone above the main entrance. I believe it's listed so will remain there indefinitely.

That's even more of a contrast! Looking at my photos, Radley, Culham, and Appleford also have full-FGW branding. Oxford has at least one FGW sign according to my photos but I think it also has some GWR ones.

Yes there are quite a few stations with FGW branding still, Pershore is another (or at least was last year when i was there). I guess these will remain in place now until they eventually get replaced by GBR signs.

The local Morrisons in Weymouth has a small post with a plaque on it next to a tree that was obvious planted for the celebration of the store opening with the Safeway branding on it
