Exam Results

Since all the Scottish folk (myself included) got their results on Wednesday, I thought I may as well get this started. How did you do?

I was one of the 30,000 who accidentally got their results a day early and I got the following (A-C are passes, D is a fail within around 5% of a C, 'No award' means you bombed it)

Higher:
Chemistry C
Drama B
English B
Maths D
Modern Studies B (appealing for an A, though)

I just checked and down south results are out on the 18th for A level and the 25th for GCSE, so this is likely to be a drawn out process...

Don't Scottish colleges/schools re-start the academic year some time in August though? Possibly doing the exams earlier as well?

I believe that's correct.

We did our exams during May, most finished around June 5th but some less popular subjects had exams up until the middle of the month

Maths - 2 (thought i'd failed)
Physics - 2 (again, expected a 3 or 4)
Graphics - 2 (appealing for a 1)
English - 2 (poo)
French - 3 (only did G/F)

I heard maths was horriffic, clearly everyone found it hard!

...which is why I stuck to the easy option and did Foundation!

I bombed the prelims for G/C, god knows how I got a 2.
