Not so long ago à belgian magazine stated that the 15 I6Bc cars that SNCB sold to an Eastern European railway were again operational and used in revenue service. It didn't give any more details. Does anyone in the audience know anything about that ?

Regiojet operate services as far south as Croatia with their summer service to Rijeka.
Indeed they do. Slovakia (Kosice) is their furthest East, and they are attempting to get to Benelux with a night train tie-up, though Wien/Bratislava/Budapest are their core international destinations.

Pretty sure they are not in use. The couchettes used are all fresh air rather than aircon bar some ex-CNL disabled access half-brakes
You may be right but ISTR RJ use ex couchettes as seats cars for the cheapest seats.
