Evening Out Travelcard

I recently bought an Evening Out Travelcard or "Evening Out TC" as written on the tickets. What surprised me was that it came as two tickets one saying Basingstoke & London Zones 1-6 and the other reversing those destinations.

When I last bought an Offpeak One Day Travelcard it was just one ticket. Are they now routinely issued as two or is this just a feature of an Evening Out TC?

This is a bug, not a feature, caused (I think) by ticket machines not being set up correctly to print the ticket.

If it's not got the TfL roundel on, good luck using it on buses...

It's a bug with the ticket issuing system.

This was purchased or collected from a TVM? Where was this; Basingstoke?

Does anyone know which supplier would be affected? Flowbird by any chance?

If I'm completely honest, good luck finding a london bus driver who does more than a very quick glance at it, presumable assumes its a travelcard and waves you on. I've used maltese cross tickets on buses before rather than on the tube for various reasons and never had an issue

It was collected from Heathrow T23. TfL machines I'd guess
