Anyone in the know tell me which type of tickets are available on this route with 75% Railway Staff Priv please?

My system's telling me you can have SOR for £72.25, FOR for £103.75, and singles for half the above rounded up.

You can only have the First Open Return if you are entitled to 1st class travel.

Cheapest way is:

Euston-Crewe SOR London Midland Only - £18.50
Crewe-Lancaster SOR Any Permitted - £15.00
Total: £33.50, but a slower journey.

May as well get yourself an 7-Day All Line Rover for £107.50 if you are likely to use the Virgin stuff as well as get yourself a few extra days.

Although if you get the £72.25 Anytime ticket you are entitled to travel in First Class for no extra charge at Weekends/Bank Holidays on Virgin services, even if it is discounted.

Depends mate. If using Virgin Trains then it is better to use your YP railcard because the fare is £51.15 (SVR) return, valid at any time due to an easement.

If using London Midland, it is cheaper to use your PRIV.

No rules stopping you from having a railcard as well

Only if you're using a Virgin-priced route (which this one is) and not if your ticket is routed VIRGINTRNSONLY.

The most expensive ones basically. Anytime fares: SOS, SOR for most longer journeys and SDS, SDR for short trips.

I am still awaiting my PRIV discount card to arrive so sorry to be a nuisance as this will probably all be stated to accompany the card. But is there any means to buy tickets online with priv?
