Hi,
I have been travelling out of euston a lot recently, and I am interested to learn about the complex rabbit warren of tracks on the approach. considering (almost?) every passenger train out of euston heads to Watford in some way or another (fasts, slows, DC, etc) why is it so complicated? Particularly interested in the lines that seem to "burrow" beneath any line that i am travelling on (electrified, shiney rails but almost never seem to have a train travelling on them).
They're fascinating, them ole railways!
