Lucky me past 3 months I have had 4 gratis channel tunnel return trips on Eurotunnel shuttles.
Managed to get all the haulage loco numbers OK, but this and another thread about numberings and yet another about EVNs reminded me to ask if anyone knows of 11 digit EVNs for Eurotunnel locos (well and other stock too).
I did not see any evidence of 11 digit EVNs anywhere on anything on these trips - but as anyone knows, one can not linger or hover around anywhere in Cheriton or Coquelles and you pass the Shuttle locos in your vehicle and can't stop and take train numbers / photos.
And yes I am aware there is no requirement to display such numbers on captive stock and that Eurotunnel is non standard load gauge making it physically captive as well as operationally (but so are the Swiss Alpine n.g. operators using EVNs, well one of them anyway), it might be they do it (and I can see a couple of reasons why it might be useful).
I think this question has been asked before, but with time lapse etc wondering if here has been any change and they are sprouting sticky digits.
