Perhaps you good people can help me here, I was travelling back from france on eurostar the train was 1.5 hrs late getting to london at 10:00pm went to get my connecting train from london to my return location gloucester, which I had missed because of the delay, only to be told the last train to my destination had now been cancelled and no further trains were available until the next day. As it was now very late at night I caught a train to my home location and then travelled the next day to gloucester to complete my journey. Could you please explain if I can claim from eurostar because my train was missed because of the delay and no further transport was available that night. Your help is appreciated. Consequential loss I feel in this instant does not apply as eurostar would have you believe because I had no other means of travel ie no trains or buses available.
thanks
