Eurostar to Brussels in August

I have just booked a return trip to Brussels with Eurostar for mid-August and note the travel times in both directions are longer than usual - just over two and a half hours each way. I presume engineering works are responsible and trains are being diverted away from the high speed line.

Does anyone know any more, or whether the situation is likely to change before then?

You didn't mention a date but there will indeed be engineering works on the high-speed lie between Lille and Brussels for a few weeks in August. Timetables have already been changed to reflect this and AFAIK no timetalbe changes are expected.
