I have a stray Eurostar ticket from London to Lille (had been planning to go on to the south of France avoiding Paris, but work reasons meant I'm now going via Paris). I've been to Lille a couple of times recently so I was thinking of going to Belgium instead.
I know Eurostar sells tickets Lille-Brussels where you can board the London train, is there anything stopping me from buying a ticket Lille-Brussels for the same train and simply staying on it (e.g. need to check-in at Lille or anything like that)? I assume there isn't and in practice I've never seen any checks for people staying on after Lille anyway so presumably could just get away without buying the extra ticket (I wouldn't do this to be clear, I'm honest and work in a regulated profession).
