Came back from Paris last week on a refurbished e300. I booked car 1 seats 51/52, which, from all the seating plans I've seen (e.g., https://www.dropbox.com/s/jsotgc97azf9fmv/Eurostar-e300-seat-plan.pdf?dl=0) have a good window view. Yet, on boarding the train, these seats lined up nicely with a window pillar! In fact, they were more like 61/62 on the plans.
I'm puzzled! I'm beginning to wonder if I sat in the wrong seats (the pair in front, where 51/52 are shown on the plans, were already occupied when we boarded). Or have I misread the plans? Or are the plans wrong? (Surely not!)
It might just be that I'm simply going mad. If so, I would be grateful for confirmation!
