Eurostar Query

Hi

Trying to book Brussels-Doncaster on Sun June 16th. The last train it gives me the option of is at 1556, arriving at Donny at 1914. In the past I've caught one at 1856. The Eurostar website pdf timetable only goes till the 1st June, but I can't believe that will be the last train to London. Is there engineering on the ECML or something?

Any ideas why?

EDIT: There is engineering on ECML but it finishes at 1205.

EDIT 2: On the interactive timetable it gives later trains departing Brussels at 1756, 1856 and 1952. Bit of a mystery!

EDIT 3: If I separate the two journeys, I can get £64 First Class return Donny -London and £110 return London Brussels returning on the 1856, which I think I'll go for, even though I realise I'll have no comeback if the connections don't work in London. Now it's just trying to explain to the nice lady in Belgium from whom I claim my expenses that it would have cost me £82 to travel second class. Bizarre all round!

The through online fares with ES have always been a bit of a mystery - I wonder whether they have heavily restricted allocations on the busiest trains? I've never been able to buy one to suit.
Whether this is the ES section or EC (or whoever...) I'm not sure.

BTW I've always used EC telesales, who ask(ed) for my ES reference.

It is a bit of a mystery as the cheapest ticket of the day was on the 1756 E* and there were good advances on the connecting trains from Kings X.

Right now, the following evening trains are available for just £10 Standard Class Advance single between London International and Doncaster on Sunday 16 June:

17:05, 17:20, 17:35, 18:05, 18:35, 19:30, 19:35, 20:05, 20:35, 21:35, 22:00, 22:35

First Class Advance tickets are £31 on the same trains.

Strange isn't it? Sorted via E* telesales as advised above but haven't bothered to look on website to see if 1556 is still last advertised train back.

If you book online, you get a train from Donny that doesn't give you that much time to change in London - a half and a Burger King if you're lucky - but now I can go to the Irish pub (name escapes -side street south of St P) and have a leisurely pint and a Thai curry (if that makes any sense). It'd be nice if the E* website gave you a choice of trains to London so you could perhaps have a leisurely hour there before the half-hour check in. Of course I arrive at Kings X and it's next door. No idea how much time they give you to traverse London and check in if you arrive at, say, Waterloo.
