Why are the terminal platforms used exclusively by Eurostar at Brussels Midi/Zuid equipped with security gates at the entrance whilst the London and Paris terminals are not?
From experience I gather that the gates are interlocked with the signaling system because the platform signals don't clear until the gates have opened.
