Eurostar check in time

We are booked to go on the Eurostar from Ashford to Paris over the easter weekend (Saturday).

our Eurostar train leaves at 07.25, and we will be getting the train over to Ashford. The earliest train we can get will get us to Ashford at 06.40, therefore leaving us with 45 minutes to get to the Eurostar platform & check in before the train leaves.

Will this be enough time to check in? Im not familiar with the procedure at Ashford for check in, is it automated or will we be stuck in a queue like an airport? Im just slighlty worried about missing the train even though they say we only need to allow 30 mins?

At St Pancras you insert your ticket in to a machine, wait for 10-15 seconds, get your ticket back and are let through a barrier. Your baggage is scanned and your passport is checked then you're in the waiting area. I'm not sure how it differs at Ashford.
