Eurostar cancellations: 28-29 August 2025.

Several Eurostar services have been cancelled yesterday and today. Does anyone know what the problem is? A friend is visiting from France next week and is worried that he may miss his long distance onward connection from London.

Is there a next train if he misses his train from London?

SNCF Connect reads that until August 31st there are works on the Belgian side that may cause cancellations and delays but nothing public as of now on the French side

Thanks. Yes there is....but it's complicated as it involves a ferry crossing.
