I am visiting Bruges in April. On my return trip (using a Eurostar ABS ticket), can I break the Bruges-Brussels portion of my journey for a few hours in Ghent? As an aside, I am fully aware that I must complete the whole Belgian (i.e. 'Any Belgian Station') section of my journey within the 24 hours before my departure from Brussels. Any help appreciated.

I can see no reason why not - in BE there are no ticket barriers AFAIK!

PS Welcome!

When we went to Bruges on a similar ticket we had lunch in Brussels and had no issues
