Is there any way to work out what will be allocated to Eurostar services at the moment? Or will it just be either a 373 or 374 depending on what is about on the day? I'm travelling between London and Brussels.

Or, if anyone has way and means; 5th March, train 9140 and 10th March train 9161.

If your train calls at Ashford International, it will have to be a 373 as 374's can't currently use the station loops (due to signalling compatability issues).

Download the "Trainline EU" app (I have it on Android) and search for your journey, select a time and look at seating, it will show either E300 for a 373 or E320 for a 374. There is no way to distinguish between an old 373 and refurbished 373 though.

Looking at the 5th March, it appears that all trains will be Class 373s to Brussels. Same for the 10th.

I'm fairly sure it's still the case that all Brussels services are 373s - there's some sort of regulatory issue to be solved I think before being cleared for the Belgian network.

The loops at Ashford still have the conventional lineside signals with AWS/TPWS. The 374s don't have these so they can't stop there yet, though there are plans to upgrade it all to TVM430 signalling.
