I believe 37218 has been photographed in a new lime livery, Similar to 37423 but with "Up to 90% CO2 Reduction" on the sides

[GhostManDN91]

Spotted 37423 today at Wigan Wallgate. Passed through P2 after the Blackburn train departed.

Probably the wrong thread, apologies, not sure who owns 37402 but haven't heard of anything about it. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Apparently been given the mechanical 'HVO' upgrade before the repaint

[Crant90045]

HVO as in Vegetable Oil?

[Spaceship323]

Yes, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil - used as an environmentally friendly alternative to diesel oil

Well this is rather fascinating… 37512 is back. (Formerly 37608) I wonder if the ‘Thornaby Demon’ nameplate will be back. Credits to Andrew Murdin for the photo.

[XCTurbostar]

It’s great to see it back and also thanks to EPR for giving the locos the heritage they deserve. I’ve never been a fan on the BMAC lights but I absolutely appreciate the effort that has gone into this both physically and commercially.

Are class 93’s likely to cause the retirement of any of these class 37 locos?

Are class 93’s likely to cause the retirement of any of these class 37 locos?

I don't think so, the plan for the 93s was to use them alongside the 37s I believe

37512 looks to be coming back to Derby ex Soho tomorrow as 0M57.... Back in Derby around 09.25. ( I guess if 37512 hauls a unit again, as part of a pair, it won't be coupled to the unit, as it doesn't have a Dellner coupling).

[Rail Quest]

37611 was spotted being hauled by 512 in a plain grey livery today. From my eyes, it looks like the same tone of grey used for the base of 423's Europhoenix livery. I'm guessing that's the livery this loco is destined for?

Youtube video showing 611 being hauled in all-grey livery:
