Hello,

I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of a reliable and up-to-date source of information on freight movements in Europe, specifically the Netherlands.

I am a student at Maastricht University, and I often see what appears to be a binliner train in the yard at Maastricht station, as well as what appears to be china clay wagons and some steel traffic which arrives from the Brussels direction hauled by some DB diesels - I assume these trains go through to Germany at some stage. I would like to find out a little more about what times they run (I'm never at the station at regular enough intervals to discern a pattern) and what their destination is etc.

Thanks

The monthly UK published magazine " TODAYS RAILWAYS - EUROPE" is a good source of general information on freight flows which are in the news for various reasons eg new flows, new operators of trains and traction etc. There is an occassional Questions and Answers feature which may prove useful.
