Afternoon everyone,

I've got an Interrail reservation for Euronight Train 50462 from Budapest Keleti to Stuttgart Hbf on 21 September.

On Saturday I got an email saying this train would be terminating short at Munich Ost due to engineering works, and that I'd need to get another train from there to Stuttgart.

This is a problem as I've got an Interrail reservation for the 1052 ICE train to Paris Est and then another for the Eurostar to London that day.

Does anyone know if there are any trains running from Munich to Stuttgart on 22 September. DB journey planner hasn't been updated as it still shows the EuroNight train running all the way to Stuttgart

Even with engineering works you should have enough time to get to Stuttgart. Keep an eye on bahn.de. AFAIK it's updated twice a week, on Wednesday and Friday (early) morning.

I would check the OeBB site nearer the time to see if the arrival at Ost will be at a less ungodly hour than 0550, but you have a couple of hours leeway.
The DB site doesn't have any engineering works between Munich and Stuttgart - as yet!

There has been heavy maintenance going on between Augsburg and Ulm with single track operation. This was scheduled to end on 6/9.

Maybe there is some unexpected follow on from this.

Also there is quite a bit of work going on around Stuttgart mostly affecting S-Bahn and Regional trains as part of the whole Stuttgart 21 project so possibly it's related to that.
