Eurobahn numbering

I've recently come back from abroad and 'spotted' a lot of German ET x.xx units.
Now home and just received a P5 German book, but it contains no reference to ET numbers!
ET 7.07 for example looks like it is a class 429, but I can find to correlation between the ET and EVN.
Later on in my holiday I listed ET 7.12 as 429517, but the 517 no. isn't in my 2023 Deutsche Bahn edition.
Does anyone have any experience with these Eurobahn numbers or know where a list can be found?

There's a series of Dutch (!) wikipedia pages that list the ET-series numbers alongside their EVN numbers. For example

If you're looking in the Platform 5 DB book for it you won't find it - Germany is divided into two books, one DB and one non-DB.

More generally, my advice would be not to use the ET x.xx numbers to record them - the EVN is the definitive, unique number. There's lots of details about each vehicle on the Revisionsdaten site (https://www.revisionsdaten.de/index.php). If you go to "Datenbank Tfz" in the menu on the left, then "Suche nach einzelnen Fahrzeugen" you can enter the EVN (or part thereof) into the box and get its history. For example if you want the loco numbered 182001 you can enter "91 80 6182 001" (with the spaces) for an exact match or "182 001" (which will give anything matching that number, including old vehicles.

I think you've had 429017 - with the other end numbered as 429517.

This happens regularly - eg ICE1 power cars have one numbered 4010xx and the other 4015xx.

Cantus (around Kassel/Göttingen) has an even more confusing approach - where it has two different sets of numbering. For example, a unit with 427005 slapped on the front is actually 427139 on the EVN!

PRESS are equally ridiculous with their numbers. For example:
PRESS “145 060” is actually 145 103 on the EVN (EVN 145 060 is a DB Cargo loco)
PRESS “185 061” is actually Swiss registered as 91 85 4482 031 (EVN 185 061 is also a DB Cargo loco)
