Hi, Forgive my ignorance, but being a brand new member on this forum site - I was hoping someone might be able to help me.

I am seeking the best possible sites to view/spot the Euro Tunnel stock, locos etc. I do not have any transport of my own and therefore need to know what sites to go to by public transport in order to get the best possible viewings. I was hoping to come to London for a couple of days and wondered if there were any reasonable locations where I could stand/sit to obtain good views, photos etc.

It was also be a great bonus if there were other rail traffic as well, such as Southern Elec Units and freight etc.

Once again pardon my ignorance and I promise I will get out more!!

Grommett.

The best place to see all you want is Ashford Int, also down the
line to Dover at Westenhanger and Sandling where the Eurostars
are alongside . Whereas at Ashford unless they are stopping they
go over the viaduct.
Hope this helps

If it is Euro Tunnel stuff you want to see, then the only place to do that in the UK is Cheriton between Sandling and Folkestone West. Folkestone West is probably slightly nearer, but it is a fair old trot unless there is a bus service that passes by.

If you want to see Eurostars, there are several possibilities in the Dagenham area and either side of Ashford (Kent) where the HSL runs alongside conventional lines.
