A nightmare is overstating it a bit. He may have been able to keep the first goal out but Ireland have basically been beaten by the better team and a goalkeeper is only as good as the defence in front of him

Yes true , they have been exposed for what they are - the glory days of Jack Charlton are way behind them. The same has happened to Scotland (5-1 USA) Both are the result of the influx of non UK players into the Premier League who have replaced the Irish,Welsh and Scots and if your not careful the English will go the same way.
