Hi all,
I have a ticketing query and I've withheld names as I wouldn't want this trick leaked out to ATOC to be closed down but I'd be happy to reveal all via PM to trustworthy members.
Basically I need to go from A to B which costs £10. I discovered that I could get a ticket from A to C via B for only £2 which is a great saving (and then stop short). I have verified this using national rail enquiries which shows it as a perfectly valid itinerary BUT only on the services leaving at xx.00; the services leaving at xx.30 go via D,E and F and cost far more (despite still stopping at B).
Does this mean I can only use this little trick on the xx.00 services or does this establish it as a valid route that can be used on both the xx.00 and xx.30 services despite the xx.30 not showing up on NRE.
