I am in Eseex in just over a week (for a couple of days) and a friend has asked if I can try to photograph some former First Volvo coaches operated by Panther Travel.

I see they have some Leyland National's listed and would love to see one still in use!

Can anyone help with the best locations to see these coaches / buses? What are they used on?

Well I saw one of their coaches at Basildon yesterday and another at the Don's of Dunmow depot. A bus also near Clacton this morning.

don't know the area that well, but at the risk of stating the already obvious,

http://www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk has the 'find a timetable' option, which will find you any operator's registered local bus services.

schools services and other contracts won't show up in Traveline if they aren't open to the general public, though

A search of the VOSA website drew a blank with no services registered.
