TPE do the same through Seatfrog's app called "Secret fares".

Avanti's superfare is also via a Seatfrog whitelabel.

A whitelabel is when a company buys a product/service that they rebrand as their own. In this case Suprefare is exactly the same thing as Secret Fare, but on a separate website with Avanti branding instead of the Seatfrog one.

But Eurostar doesn't allow me to select morning / afternoon / evening so it will not work for a day trip.
They explicitly prevent you from booking a day return as they don't guarantee a particular timeframe.

Eurostar won't want to undermine their expensive normal fares, as they know a lot of day trippers will be price-inelastic business travellers.
