Does anyone know if Alexander Dennis are doing seed vehicles for the Enviro200EV? As I have recently seen images of GA26ZEB and AR26ZEB which seem like similar registrations to what was used for the Enviro400EV seed vehicles.

What is a seed vehicle please? A demonstrator?

Yes it is a bit like a demonstrator that the manufacturer gives to an operator to test out with the hope of generating orders.

It’s a long term demonstrator so it’s on fleet for months or more (rather than days or weeks). This allows a much greater amount of data to be gathered
