1943! The builder deserves to be shot with a bodge job like that on a loco. Doesnt even say if its been run which i would be suspicious of.
If your going to do something properly then do it right! i think there is an example of what not to do.
the only thing worth redeeming is the little 4 wheel coach at the back of the "train". That would look good behind the Metrovick
I have reservations about his claim that the thing was built in the war. Ok the loco and coaches possibly were (judging by the overall crapiness), but definitely not the track. Who in WW2 would supply extruded steel rail when there was more money to be made in munitions production? Another thing that bothers me is this, we get plenty of underside shots of the loco. So where is the power transmission, or indeed, the motor???
as for those footrests sticking out of the side of the firebox, well, I think that just finishes this mess off.
I think I'll offer a fiver for the coach.
