Enhanced pass standards

Hi guys.

I was wondering about the enhanced pass standards that many TOC's seem to operate to these days and I was hoping some of you might be able to enlighten me as to which TOC's are known to definitely require enhanced scores and which definitely still accept the national standard pass as a pass itself?

I am based in the Midlands myself so personally I would be most interested in learning of companies such as London Midland, Chiltern, East Midlands Trains and Northern.

But any info on enhanced standards from anywhere in the country would be interesting.

Hi Ray. I know East Midlands Trains definitely have a high pass requirement mate, not sure about the others you mentioned.

I was told MTR Crossrail also have an enhanced pass rate requirement.

Northern only require the standard pass for their assessments.

Good question Ray! I have often wondered this too. I have passed my tests but no idea what sort of standard I passed to.

Thanks for the info chaps. I suppose most companies will probably require some sort of enhanced standard now. If a few are doing it, they probably all will be.

All the above require enhanced passes ARL & MTR even have supplementary tests you have to complete.

It's best to take it that the TOC you're applying for will require an enhanced pass and work from there and try an achieve an enhanced pass.
