Enhanced facilites at major stations

Folks,
l was wondering if anyone had an opinion in how and what way they would improve their major city station.At Glasgow Central if you wanted to purchase a new tie,thereafter consume a packet of organic nuts,then maybe a donut and if still hungry get a burger king meal,your fine.If you are on to a promise then you can pop into Boots The chemist.

What improvements would you make and what kind of shops would you like to see within a major station.......Keep it clean folks

It would be nice to have a Subway/AMT outlet at Stevenage, I still miss the AMT outlets at Kings Cross.

Sheffield could do with a Boots given its size and distance from the city centre. It could also have a proper bus interchange but that's wishful thinking!

Something selling food first and coffee second, ie, not another flaming coffee shop! A shop selling sausage rolls, bacon rolls, pasties... would do.

Anyone ever seen just how busy Gregs outside Piccadilly is?

Also, anything that isn't bloddy franchised to the Select Service Partner group, they always manage to make everything horrible.

Does adding retailers add value to the station?
Glasgow Central actually has very few retailers, when you compare it to other major stations
I was disgusted when they added the shanty town retailers on the main concourse, rather than construct something a little more permanent
The similar units at Glasgow QS are just laughable

Glasgow Central has many other facilities, the loss of the short stay car park has not helped
It still causes confusion as visitors not aware the route has now closed try to work out where to go next
Equally, the local streets have little or no spare on-street parking, and the NCP car park is really only intended as long-stay

At Aberdeen, when the car park size was reduced, this was resolved by merging with the local authority car park
It is a shame a similar type of scheme could not have been arranged with NCP
All too often the top three floors are empty (and I've only twice seen one car on the top floor, when taking photographs)

You can get a haircut at Marylebone. It is probably the cheapest barbers in central London too.
