The Crewe Heritage Centre is pleased to announce its English Electric Weekend. Whats it all about? Well English Electric locomotives have been present on the railways since the 1950s and some classes have been seen regularly around the Crewe area, even today. This event celebrates all things English Electric and is supported by DRS who will provide (subject to availability) a number of locomotives for display and the resident English Electric Class 73 locomotive will be used to give brake van rides and driver experience. So why not come along and see what the fuss is about?
