Engineering works overrunning?

Is it usual for engineering works to overun? I will be travelling on Sunday 10th March and the line I am travelling on has rail replacement bus services until 1600 because of engineering works. The first train is at 1606. Would it be likely that the 1606 would be changed to a rail replacement bus service, or am I safe to assume that it will still be a train?

Most works don't overrun, but some do, so it is impossible to say for certain.
