Engineering Work 31 October

Does anyone know what engineering work is taking place on Sunday 31 October? I;m interested in routes that serve South and West Yorkshire, Doncaster or Leeds?

I've tried getting detaisl through National Rail Enquiries, but I can't get details of anything. The total user unfirendliness of the site makes me want to smash the screen! Every time it comes up with no mresult, you have to reset the date boxes!

See what you mean, under the old system I am sure you were given this info.

ATW for instance have released engineering in their patch for September.
Dont know about the other tocs, wonder why this info is being kept out
of public sight, unless someone knows how to access it.

The East Coast journey planner has told me that there are buses between Hereford and Newpor tthat day, but I can't find that on NRE either! Anyway, I've given up now, the NRE website and myself are not getting on at all well!

I was looking at trains around then too and came up against the same problem. Looking at times for various journeys it seems that the effect of that engineering work is no trains into Newport from the east - there are bus substitutions between Severn Tunnel Junction and Newport too. I don't know anything about South Yorkshire though!

I'm trying to get back from Yorkshire in the afternoon, so I first looked to see if there were any engineering works in that part of the world. I then checked journey planners, which showed I couldn't leave after 1550 - the replacement bus between Hereford and Newport means a longer journey! I checked again on NRE, and no engineering work is showing for ATW either!

Normally, I can leave Doncaster at 1750 and the journey home takes about 6 hours.
