Enfield Town - L/st 7car train

Acording to the NXEA web site the 17.50 Enfield Town to Liverpool St and then Liverpool St to Chingford is formed of 7 coaches due to a technical problem. Now either this is a tyoing error on their web site or we have a 3 car 317 running around coupled to a 4 car, can anyone shed any light on this?

Its a possibility but never seen it before on this line, when there has been problems with 1 carriage the whole unit has in the past been taken out of service.

No 3 car units on the WA, so I'm guessing one coach out of action.

Half of the problem is that when one coach goes out the whole train goes out because we can't lock off the connecting internal doors to secure the dodgy coach. Hornsey in their infinite wisdom decided it was safest if they were all removed. Now we hear that they are all to be refitted to prevent some minor faults resulting in a complete failure.
