90044 brought down the curtain on ICWC loco hauled workings and was brought out for an extra run to Birmingham due to shortage of pendolinos, apparently...

Am I right in hearing that WB64 is running a charter on Saturday 22nd December? Im not sure where it is from, but with all of the diverts in operation from Saturday 22nd around Euston, would it not make operational sense for it to run up North on the Friday night, potentially on 1K39?

Most likely will be conveying Arsenal as they are playing at Wigan on the 22nd with a 12:45 kick off.

I'm sure they regularly travel by train to games in the North West.

Yes they do normally. When they played liverpool, they travelled on a normal service train.
