Is it actually officially closed....or are trains "temporarily" not stopping there, like at Barlaston and Wedgewood?Invalid as closed.
temporatily like barlaston, because the airport don't want to repair the stationIs it actually officially closed....or are trains "temporarily" not stopping there, like at Barlaston and Wedgewood?
I think it’s one for the Quizmaster to think on. It’s along the same lines as IBM Halt or Barlaston. Onthe Alphabet game it wouldn’t be allowed. Perhaps @Xenophon PCDGS would like to adjudicate?does this include unofficially closed stations then? it's not been formally closed just not any services
Post #1, at the very top of this thread, refers. Any station with no services calling is hardly 'open', is it?It is advisable that only the currently-known station name of any OPEN station should be used in postings on this quiz.
I think this is a reasonable judgement to make. If a station hasn't received a service for a good while, doesn't currently and is unlikely to be served for the foreseeable future, then to all practical purposes it may be deemed closed (notwithstanding any legal status).I think it’s one for the Quizmaster to think on. The quiz should continue from the posting above, which was the one prior to the recent debate.Koe Taung Boet (Myanmar)
