42nd Street - Times Square? Doesn't break the game at all thanks to the imaginative street naming traditions used in America. Can I argue that numerals are permissible?

Doesn't break any rules if you post it as "Times Square - 42 Street" as per the MTA's map & I've used it several times in the past.
Quite a lot of NY (and US) stations you can't do this for, of course.

Can we interpret this rule that the first letter of a numeral can be used at the start of the name, so long as they are sensible, since this does not cause confusion to the next person as to which letter they should follow on with?
So 42nd Street, 125 Street etc would all be acceptable (so long as they followed on from a final "f" or an "o" in these examples)??
