Rules
Don't put "station" at the end of the post. It's invalid as no station ends in "station" but if it does provide evidence......If the suffix is that of the operator, you can choose to include it or not, e.g. Gare d'Avignon TGV is valid as well as Gare d'Avignon in this case. Please state where you do that.

I have shown the above extract from the rules as a help where non-British station suffixes are stated in postings.

At the risk of opening a can of worms, what happens in the case of 'Rochdale Railway Station' Metrolink stop ?

ADJUDICATION

I feel that what VTPreston-Tez meant when he re-formulated the quiz rules was strictly in reference to some very early postings on the thread of heavy-rail stations (British and Overseas) where that word "station" was not part of the station name itself.

However, on both examples quoted above on the light-rail Manchester Metrolink system, providing that the bracketed (Manchester Metrolink) statement was added after the tram stop name in any posting, this will be eminently acceptable.

Dortmund Hbf :)

This posting is the one with which the quiz can continue.
