Running the Closed Stations Journey quiz, I often wish that Johnuk123 was one of the contestants on that particular quiz, as he has used quite a number of the more arcane closed railway stations on this particular quiz.

Angling Club Cottage Platform was opened in 1898 as a single platform halt on The Peebles Railway to serve the members of a very exclusive angling club. It was situated between the railway stations of Thornielee and Clovenfords.
