EMUs to Preston

Rereading Motive Power Monthly 1989 (wish I had 1990 onwards, it's incredible)...I know over the years there have been a few posts relating to EMUs heading North so this log felt significant, mentioning 303, 304 and 317s?

Likely many Euston & Birmingham crews will have signed 317s in those days prior to the 321s taking over .
